Floyd Favel is a playwright, director and actor
from Poundmaker First Nation. He has achieved
international recognition for his work in developing
and innovating aboriginal theatre. A number of Floyd Favel’s
productions have premiered at Globe Theatre including
The Sleeping Land and Governor of the Dew.
Floyd Favel’s new play is inspired by the legendary
French theatre innovator, Antonin Artaud, whose work
was transformed by his time with the Tarahumaras
people in Mexico. |
