BARBARA BARSKY | Marilla Cuthbert
Barbara is thrilled to be back at Globe Theatre and working with Geoff & Co. She first appeared in “Anne” as Josie Pye in the Broadway production over 30 years ago, yikes ! Selected credits include: Lady Bracknell in Earnest, an original operetta, Mama Rose in Gypsy, Penelope Pennywise in Urinetown (Jessie Award nomination), Maria Callas in Master Class, Golde in Fiddler On The Roof ( Stratford Festival), Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard and Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd. She has received six Dora Award nominations for Closer Than Ever, Forbidden Broadway, Chutzpah a GoGo, Snappy Tales and Assassins (Dora Award- Producer). She was a member of the legendary Second City Company. Upcoming: Mimi Schwinn in A New Brain. |

BRIAN W.G. BOWLEY | Minister and Earl, the mailman
This is Brian's first appearance on Globe Theatre's main stage. Most recently he played Father Frank/Sister Francis and Godzilla in Johnny Zed – The Musical (Saskatchewan Playwright Centre's 2008 workshop). In the spring of 2007, Brian played Bradley in Mr. Marmalade, a Shumiatcher Sandbox Series production (Globe Theatre). There-after he was hired by the Moose Jaw Cultural Centre as a project coordinator and for the last year and a half has assisted in the development of a new theatre company for Moose Jaw. In August of 2007, he performed with RuBarb Productions as Maurice in Beauty and the Beast (Mae Wilson Theatre, Moose Jaw). Brian holds a Licentiate in Voice Performance from McGill University. |

JEFF GILES│| Gilbert Blythe
Anne of Green Gables-The Musical marks Jeff's first time at Globe Theatre, as well as his first time in Regina, and he's very happy to be here. An Ontario native, Jeff has worked at many regional theatres across the province, including leading roles in The Drawer Boy (Theatre Orangeville), The Big League (Carousel Players), and Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story (Port Hope Festival Theatre). When he's not on stage, he's on the sidewalk, working as a street musician, and honing his songwriting chops for an upcoming album, hopefully to be recorded in a year or so. In the meantime, enjoy the show! |

LEORA JOY GODDEN│| Lucilla and Tillie Boulter
Leora is thrilled to be back at the beautiful Globe Theatre, having made her professional debut here in 2004 in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast! Credits include Evita in Evita, Strike! The Musical, Beauty and the Beast (Persephone Theatre), The Full Monty (Ground Zero), Caberlesque! (BSide Productions), Jasper Station (Souris Valley Theatre), and Big Bands to Broadway with the RSO. Leora is a graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, New York. |

TIM KOETTING│| Matthew Cuthbert
With a career that has taken him from Victoria, B.C. to Parrsborro, Nova Scotia, Tim is very happy to be making his Globe Theatre debut in such a lovely piece of Canadian theatre. He recently appeared as Mr Bennet in Pride and Prejudice (Citadel Theatre, Edmonton). Other favourite stage projects include Trying (Persephone Theatre, Saskatoon), Glenn (Blacklist Theatre), Boy Gets Girl (Theatre Junction) and Urinetown (Ground Zero/Mob Hit Productions) all in Calgary, Alberta, BigRiver (Drayton Festival) and Sometime/Never (Blyth Festival) in Ontario. Film and TV credits include OpenRange, Due South, ShanghaiNoon, Little House on the Prairie, Monte Walsh, The Claim and Moonstruck. |

ALEXIS KORCHINSKI│| Mrs. Barry and Mrs. Spencer
Alexis is excited to be making her debut on the Globe Theatre stage in this heart-warming Canadian story. She was last seen in Rosthern in the Station Arts Centre production of Anne of Green Gables-The musical as Miss Stacy and various other Avonlea ladies. A graduate of the University of Saskatchewan in Music and Education Alexis has recently returned from two years of teaching music abroad. She is glad to be home singing with the Madrigrrrls and performing with various groups around the province. Happy Holidays!

CLAYTON LABBE│| Tommy Sloane
Clayton is thrilled to be a making his debut in this timeless musical here at Globe Theatre. A graduate of the Randolph Academy for Performing Arts, Clayton was last seen as Horatio in the new workshop of Cliff Jones' Something's Rockin in Denmark at the St. Lawrence Cenrer. Favorite credits include: Bobby in Cabaret, Mercedes in La Cage aux Folles and Cousin Kevin in The Who's Tommy. Special thanks to Mom, Dad and Candace for always believing in me, and much love for everyone who has helped me on my path. |

MARISA MCINTYRE│| Diana Barry
Marisa is excited to be joining Globe Theatre this season! Theatre credits include Amaryllis in The Music Man (Stratford Festival), Mary in The Secret Garden, Cinderella in Cinderella and The Princess in Aladdin (Waterloo Stage Theatre), Leisl in The Sound of Music (Centre in the Square), Diana Barry in Anne & Gilbert (1000 Island Playhouse) and Sophie in Mamma Mia (Royal Alexander Theatre). Film and TV credits: The Stalking of Laurie Show (MOW), Exhibit A (Discovery Channel), The Salem Witch Trials (CBS), Rebecca in DOC, Judy Rodgers in Tru Calling (FOX) and comedy pilot EAT T.V. (YTV). Marisa placed top four in ALW’s hit How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria? this summer (CBC). |

TONI MACRAE | Anne Shirley
Toni is absolutely tickled pink to be playing Anne at Globe Theatre. Most recently, Toni appeared in Les Miserables at the 1000 Islands Playhouse. Favourite credits include Beauty and the Beast (The Wardrobe/Silvermist Prods), Charley’s Aunt (Smile/Tom Kneebone), The Secret Garden (Theatre Orangeville) and Jane Eyre (Mirvish) and the feature King of the Camp, which debuted on YTV this past spring. All the love possible to family & friends who venture to visit when she’s away missing them but doing what she loves. Much love to Tess, and of course, my darling JMD. |

ERIN POLATYNSKI | Dance Captain, Prissy Andrews, Mrs. Blewett and Mrs. Sloane
Erin completed 4 years in the B.F.A. program at the University of Windsor and is thrilled to be making her professional theatre debut in Anne at Globe Theatre. She thanks everyone at home for their constant love and encouragement especially G and UM for supporting her through it all. DOUGLAS PRICE | Charlie Sloane and Stationmaster
Doug caught the theatre bug at a very young age and was soon wrapping his life around as much theatre and music as he could handle. Credits include Oliver!, The Music Man, Fiddler on the Roof, and Oklahoma (Grand Theatre), Les Feux Follets (Charlottetown Young Company), and most recently “Starbuck” in 110 in the Shade, and “Hot Blades Harry” in Urinetown (Theatre Sheridan). Doug has had a fantastic time working with such a wonderfully talented cast! Enjoy! |

<JEFFREY PUFAHL | Mr. Phillips and Cecil, the farmer
Jeffrey is thrilled to be returning to Globe! Past credits include Gaston in Disney’s Beauty and The Beast, Cruel Tears and Marg Szkaluba (Pissy’s Wife). Actor, singer, director, writer, producer, and filmmaker, Jeff has had the pleasure to work with Persephone Theatre, Shakespeare on the Sask,Regina Lyric Light Opera, Souris Valley Theatre, Caligula- An Ancient Glam Epic (Off Broadway), Cincinnati Pops, Charlottetown Festival, Armonico Consort (UK), Hulo Films and recently with the RSO in Big Bands to Broadway. Over the past 3 years he has created two International Fringe Festival hits: Prairie Salt and Caberlesque! |

CAILIN STADNYK | Miss Stacey and Mrs. Pye
Cailin is delighted to be returning "home" for her Globe debut. She has performed with many of Western Canada's most prominent theatre companies. SOME of her favorite credits include Funny Girl (Ovation Award winner), Singin' In The Rain (Jessie nominee), Hockey Mom-Hockey Dad & Company, (all for the Arts Club Theatre); Cabaret & Waiting for The Parade (Showcase); Urinetown (Belfry); Gypsy (RCMT); Fiddler On The Roof (Playhouse); and Little Shop of Horrors (WCT & TUTS). When not on stage, Cailin keeps busy as the main female motion capture artist for Rainmaker Animation doing everything from the Barbie movies to various video games. Love and thanks to her family! |

ARI WEINBERG | Moodie MacPherson
Ari is excited to be making his Globe debut! Previous credits include The Mousetrap, Swing!, Bunnicula, …Shakespeare (Abridged), Perfect Wedding, Bye Bye Birdie, Mother Goose: A Pantomime, and Aladdin all at various theatres across Ontario. He is the recipient of an Alan Lund Scholarship as an emerging artist from Drayton entertainment, spent two summers as an assistant director at the Stratford Festival’s Shakespeare School, and was the assistant director for Anyone Can Whistle: In Concert (Talk Is Free Theatre). Ari would like to thank Geoff for making his dream of being in Anne come true, the cast, crew, and everyone at Globe for an incredible experience, his parents for their eternal support, and BI for his mentorship. MARIANNE WOODS | Rachel Lynde
Marianne is delighted to return to Globe Theatre! Previous shows include The Secret Garden, Jacques Brel, Nicholas Nickelby, and Amadeus. Marianne is actively involved in the Saskatchewan theatre scene, and has performed in Ontario and throughout North America. Marianne dedicates Anne of Green Gables-The Musical to the loving memory of her parents, Jessie and Bill Woods, who introduced her to the Anne books and in memory of her friend, Jean Findlay. GEOFFREY WHYNOT| Director and Choreographer
Geoff has been at Globe regularly over the past five years. On stage, he has been in The SecretGarden, Just So, A Christmas Carol, Six Dance Lessons In Six Weeks and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. He directed Over The River and Through the Woods and Stones in His Pockets, and has assisted Ruth Smillie on several other shows. Geoff is the director of the Globe Conservatory Actor Training Program, and is so grateful to Ruth and the entire Globe community for making him feel so welcome and for giving artists such an astounding place to grow. |

ELLI BUNTON | Set Designer
Elli has a bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada. Actively designing for both Theatre and Opera, Elli worked extensively out of Montreal before moving to Regina last year. Highlights in Montreal include Set and/or Costume Designs for: A Carpenters Trilogy: The Carpenter, Trying, Romeo and Juliet, Have a Heart (Centaur Theatre), The Diary of Anne Frank (The Segal Centre for the Performing Arts) Dido and Aeneas (L’Opera de Montreal’s Conservatory) Die Zauberflote, Die Fledermaus (Jeunesses Musicales du Canada) and Le Rossignol, Gianni Schicchi, L’heure Espagnole, Suor Angelica (La Conservatoire de Musique de Montreal) and most recently, for Globe Theatre’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Although she misses Montreal terribly, Elli has never felt more welcomed than at the Globe Theatre. |

JORGE SANDOVAL | Costume Designer
A retired dancer, Jorge Sandoval is one of the success stories of the Dancers Transition Resource Centre where he won several grants, and retrained for a career in costume and set design. His most recent credits include the costume design for Prefigured Effect (Clifford E. Lee Award 2008), for the Banff Centre Summer Festival, and the costume design for the film Music and Magic for Quarteto Gelato. Mr. Sandoval collaborated with Kaeja d'Dance designing the costumes for the dance video Between Seams for Bravo Channel, and in 2008 he designed their production Abattoir. For Globe Theatre,Mr. Sandoval designed the costumes for A Christmas Carol and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. |

VALERIE ANN PEARSON | Musical Director
Valerie returns to Globe Theatre in an entirely new capacity as musical director and performance pianist for "Anne". Previously, Val directed Dogbarked and The Glass Menagerie and appeared as an actor in several shows including: The Tempest, A Perfect Ganesh, Elizabeth Rex, Twelfth Night and Over the River and Through the Woods. It is always a treat to work at Globe Theatre with such good friends and warm audiences. She will return later this season to appear in the award winning Doubt, A Parable. Val makes her home in Calgary with her husband of 40 years, Pat. She would like to thank Barbara for making her a home in Regina.
