BOOKING TICKETS
As a result of the overwhelming response to our holiday season productions in the past we have implemented the following school booking and payment policy. We encourage you to begin planning now for your class attendance at Globe Theatre.
Thank you for your continued co-operation.
Student Matinee tickets go on sale on June 5, 2008.

to make arrangements with your school to obtain funds prior to booking.

OTHER WAYS TO BOOK
All bookings must be accompanied by a 50% non-refundable deposit. Note: if you book online, full payment is required.
BOOKING POLICIES:
- Deposit & Payment: For all performances a 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.
The deposit can be made by cheque, MasterCard, VISA or Interac. We will no longer receive cash.
Bookings will not be confirmed until the deposit is received by Globe Theatre.

schools will be contacted by phone and will have 48 hours to confirm the number
of tickets they require and to pay for the tickets. We will
send reminders to schools that have booked before each production regarding
the deadline for ticket payment.
Additional tickets may
be purchased at any time depending upon ticket availability.
STUDENT PROTOCOL
Globe Theatre is pleased to be able to invite students to the theatre. As we develop our
student programs, we have been asked to establish some guidelines for behaviour for the students.
In an effort to ensure that the theatre-going experience is an enjoyable one for all involved --
students, teachers, other audience members and actors -- we request that students are aware of the attached protocol.
STUDY
GUIDES
To enhance the theatre-going experience,
a comprehensive background resource for educators and students has been
prepared for each play. If requested, a copy will be sent to participating schools.
These guides will focus on the play, the characters, background materials,
and provide an analysis, as well as discussion and activity suggestions.
Study guides will be available online prior to each performance.
TEACHER PREVIEWS
Teachers booking tickets for student matinees are invited to attend the Dress Rehearsal
Performance one week prior to the matinee performance. This gives educators an opportunity to
see the play and discuss it with their students during regular class time prior
to the students attending the performance.
ADDITIONAL PERFORMANCES
For schools requesting 200 or more tickets, a
special matinee performance (except for Anne of Green Gables - a Musical )
may be added (performance schedule permitting). Teachers
are encouraged to book early for the regularly scheduled Wednesday
Matinee dates listed below as they are also open to regular subscribers and the
general public.
EVENING OR WEEKEND PERFORMANCES
Schools may also book tickets for evening and weekend performances
for the single ticket prices. A 10% discount will apply
for a group of 10 - 15 students and adults or 15% for a group of 16 or more students and adults when booking an evening or weekend performance. There is no discount for children 12 years or younger.
