The product of a unique and intense training program at Globe Theatre, the Fusion project brings promising young Saskatchewan artists together every year to create an uncompromising new work of theatre.
Movement, sound, text, voice, design: these are the ingredients, and every new Fusion ensemble bakes, breaks, boils and broils them in unprecedented ways, producing a concentrated vision of life in the 21st century. Every Fusion production is a one-of-a-kind and never repeated theatrical experience.
Throughout the Fusion process, these young artists learn the synergy of creating together, trusting each other, challenging the obvious, and leaving fear at the door. If theatre is the ultimate team sport, these are elite athletes in training. Come see them in action.

The Shumiatcher Sandbox Series at Globe Theatre showcases the work of artists who continually challenge the boundaries of theatre, dance and multi-disciplinary performance.
We invited artists to propose their own work for presentation on our stage. This year, we are proud to offer Six (6) projects as part of the Shumiatcher Sandbox Series and Three (3) new works as part of the inaugural Reading Series.
Each of these productions is innovative, challenges conventions and expectations, and is backed by a team of talented theatre professionals.
