Actor Training Program

Actor Training Program 2008The Actor Training Program is a rigorous 16 week process (May 3, 2010 to August 21, 2010) with an emphasis on acting, movement, voice training and text analysis. The program is taught by some of the most respected theatre professionals in Canada.This is a full-time program with classes scheduled 6 days per week from 10am to 6pm as well as some evening rehearsals. 

The Actor Training Program is an advanced program that will prepare actors for work in the professional theatre at the highest level. Admission is through a competitive audition process.  Saskatchewan residents will have priority for the available spaces.  Participants will be given priority to audition for a role in a Globe Theatre production during the 2010|2011 season. 

We encourage you to apply for this program if you want to pursue a career as a professional theatre artist.  The Actor Training Program prepares artists to work on the Globe Theatre stages and any other Canadian theatres.
 


Application Process

Applications will be accepted up until Friday September 18, 2009 at 5pm.

Successful Candidates will be contacted on Monday September 21, 2009 with an audition date & time.  Auditions will take place in Regina on Sunday October 4 & Monday October 5, 2009 in Regina. 
 

Audition Requirements:

1 Contemporary monologue (no longer than 3 minutes) of your choice.
1 Shakespearean monologue chosen from either:

Female monologues or

Male monologues
