Tuesdays With MorrieTuesdays With Morrie

By Jeffrey Hatcher and Mitch Albom

Based on the book by Mitch Albom

Directed by Andrew North

FEBRUARY 17 - MARCH 7, 2010

Running Time: 1 hour 20 minutes (no intermission)

Throughout our lives, each of us will meet a large and diverse group of individuals. Some of these people are forgotten, some become friends and a precious few will leave an indelible mark on our soul. For Mitch, Professor Morrie Schwartz was one of those precious few. As a young college man, Mitch formed a strong bond with his sociology professor; a bond he promised to keep after graduation. But as life happened, Mitch lost contact and all but forgot his dear old professor. Years later, a serendipitous channel-flip finds Mitch staring at Morrie on Nightline. After reuniting with his old college professor, Mitch signs on for the most important class he’ll ever take. In doing so he learns valuable lessons about love, money and the true meaning of life.

Ruth Says...

Mitch Albom’s book about his professor Morrie Schwartz was an international bestseller. The warmth, humour and pathos of the friendship between the two men are captured in the play. The production is directed by Andrew North and will feature Geoffrey Whynot as Mitch.
